Yogurt Marinade

Who doesn’t need a good marinade? While meal planning for this week I decided to do a chicken marinade. I’m just trying to mix up my food each week so I don’t get crazy bored on this keto diet.

Fair warning, marinade overnight.

Yogurt Marinade

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • Dash of cayenne
  • Dash of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients well and put your choice of protein into it then cover and put into the fridge.

Notes

  • I used this for chicken, then grilled the next day
  • This would be great for shrimp, light fish, chicken, and beef
