Keto Chocolate Cake

When you’re craving something sweet try this keto chocolate cake. Now, here’s the best part, depending on how long you cook it, it can be a cake OR a lava cake!

Modified from a recipe from tasteaholics

Calories: 200

Fat: 11.8 grams

Protein: 8.7 grams

Carbs: 7 grams

Net Carbs: 3 grams

Chocolate Cake

 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of cacao OR cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon of Swerve
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • dash of salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees of Fahrenheit
  2. Combine cacao and Swerve in one bowl
  3. Whisk egg (I just used a fork) well
  4. Add the egg, cream, vanilla paste, baking powder, and salt to cacao mixture
  5. Spray some PAM into a ramekin and if you want a lava cake, bake for 17 minutes, you want a cake, bake for 20 minutes

Notes

  • I topped this off with homemade whipped cream
