Do you like cupcakes…

…and Vietnamese drinks? Me too. The past few days I want to share what I ate around Seattle. My most favorite cupcake place in Seattle is Yellow Leaf Cupcake. If you love red velvet theirs is super phenomenal because the cake is super moist and the cream cheese frosting isn’t too sweet. Though it is my favorite I decided to try something new so I ordered their chocolate peanut butter cuppie.

This cupcake has a cookie base with a chocolate glaze and peanut butter frosting. It is quite delicious, but the whole cupcake is WAY too much and can easily be shared.

Today I had to take my car in to be serviced and I went to this Thai restaurant, Malakor and ordered their red curry lunch special, which is comprised of red curry and small scoop of rice and pad thai. Their curry is phenomenal it is deliciously spicy (per request) and thick, the pad thai was standard, and the rice was too wet. The service was fair and the food was quick to come out.

Before I left the area I stopped at Bambu, a Vietnamese drink place. I ordered Fruit Addict (#6) that has lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, jello, pandan jelly, and coconut & coconut milk. It is super yummy! There are a few locations around Washington state, the closest one to me is in the International District, but the closest to me at the time was at The Great Wall Shopping Mall.

If you’re ever in Seattle and enjoy cupcakes and Asian desserts, stop by those other places. Oh…since I’m sharing that, I’ll definitely share more about Seattle. Seattle’s restaurants aren’t bad, my order of best (in my opinion) is New York, San Francisco, then Seattle. More later on Seattle 😀
