Posted by Things have been a bit busy for me the past two weeks as I’ve been traveling for conferences. So, I’m refocusing and getting back on the bandwagon for reviews…this review is overdue from Monday, but hey, at least I’m doing it now!
Try out Kakao, I was interested in them because they label themselves as, “Chocolate + Coffee + Community” and I was mainly in it for the chocolate. I’ve been there a number of times and this time I decided to try something different, the affogato.
Note: I am not paid for my reviews. I eat at the restaurants I review and pay for it myself, no one asks me to come in and do so. This is true for all past reviews as well.
| Vibe: | Spacious and open layout. It isn’t surprising to see people working or having meetings here |
| Cleanliness: | Yes to clean! |
| Service: | The few times I’ve been there service has been quite fast and friendly. |
| Flavor: | The sipping chocolate is fantastic and I was not disappointed with the affogato. It has a great balance of sweet and bitter. That being said…I don’t think I’m a huge fan of their espresso alone. The ice cream really helps to offset it |
| Is it worth it: | It depends on what you enjoy and get. I’d go there only for the chocolate and affogato |
